Lee called

Lee made it to Tampa finally. I guess they had to go over stuff before they left. So I guess I wont be able to talk to him until tonight. Anyway I was talking on Navy For Moms site and a friend said that since he is taking the ASVAB test today that he should be able find out what job he want and when he leaves for sure. Let you all know more later when I here from him again.

Lee is off to meps

Lee came by this morning to say hi and I wished him luck. He is heading to meps to take his ASVAB  test and see what jobs he can get. Hopefully IT or ET which is what he wants. So he is heading to tampa with the recruiters and will be gone most of the day. So wont be able to see him until later. He better call me with update so  don't worry about him. Anyway wish him luck everyone.

What a day

Well Lee is excited about tomorrow. He has to go back to recruiters and will be gone most of the day. I was talking to lady of Navy For Moms her son is in the same ET field that Lee wants and her son left 3 weeks after he met with recruiters. Another mom has a daughter who just met with recruiters week before Lee and she leave for boot camp in May. I was told all depends on job openings etc. Since the job Lee wants has openings now they are rushing him in so to speak. From what I have learned since he will be gone most of the day they may take him to MEPS tomorrow to start paperwork etc. So hopefully get he leave date then, Well off to bed nite everyone let you all know more tomorrow.

Recruiter update

Hi everyone well I got a call from Lee about 11am from Lee. He told me that I needed to come there because the recruiter wanted to meet with me. So I went in and the recruiter is great very nice. Lee wants to get either IT or ET but the IT field is hard to get into. So there are going to try get him into ET. If that is the case he could leave as early as mid to late April. So looks like early April wedding. I better get busy.

Lee left to meet with recruiters

Lee came by to say hi before he left to meet recruiters and he should be gone most of the day. I wished him luck and to call me with an update when he could. He said he would. So I let you all know more later on what happens.

Our secret is out

We where at church today and it seemed like everyone knew about us being engaged wonder how everyone found out. Our pastor met with Lee and I to talk about our plans etc. He was happy for us in our decision to get married and also happy with Lee's decision to join the Navy. Which was kinda weird wasn't expecting that. But he knew we loved each other. He told Lee if he needed any help in deciding what jobs in the Navy he wanted he could help since he was Retired Navy he could offer advice etc. Which I thought was cool. Well 9 hrs untill recruiters. I let you all know more tomorrow.

24 hrs untill Lee meets recruiter

It's Sunday morning about to head to church. Just waiting for Lee to pick me up. It's weird its 24 hrs until Lee meets with the Navy Recruiters and he is totally excited can't blame him.

Hi everyone

Well spent the day with mom. We did talk about the wedding and what kinda of wedding I wanted. I told he something small with just family and friends nothing big. She thought that was a good idea and would help plan the wedding if I need it. I am off to bed church tomorrow so nite everyone.

Day after birthday

It's the day after my birthday and sill can't believe I am engaged. Mom and I are going shopping which is our normal Saturday activities together. I hope to get to talk to her about the up coming wedding. But since Lee is joining the Navy we don't want to set a date until after he meets with his recruiters on Monday and we find out when he could be leaving for boot camp. Well better go cya all later.

Today was my birthday

Well I turned 17 today and a lot has happened today. 1 my boyfriend Lee proposed to me and of course I said yes. Both are family's are excited about the wedding. They knew it was coming before we did. 2 Lee told me he wanted to join the Navy. Which I was shocked since Lee has never mentioned and military service. But after talking to him I was very supportive of his decision. So I am looking forward to what ever happens next and my life with Lee.
